America 250

“Woodinville’s story in the American story.”

Woodinville’s story is part of the American story.
For 250 years, the American story has been shaped not only in capitals and battlefields, but in local communities like ours — places where families worked the land, built schools, opened businesses, welcomed neighbors, preserved traditions, and created a shared sense of home.

America 250 in Woodinville connects our local history to the larger national story through the people, places, and experiences that shaped this valley. From the Sammamish Valley’s farming roots to local schools, community organizations, historic landmarks, and gathering places, Woodinville reflects the broader American themes of work, migration, enterprise, civic life, resilience, and belonging.

Out of many families, many traditions, and many generations, one community was formed. That is Woodinville’s place in the American story.
